Anne Farrell is an Australian author, born in Tasmania in 1954. She is probably best known for her childrens books and pony stories, and in particular the Guara/Mitchell Family series that is set in Tasmania on a cattle farm and centred around the lives of the Mitchell children, Lesley, Val, David and Ian. In the present story, Shadow, Lesley Mitchell's nervous pony, charges into an electric fence and Lesley takes a tumble. with unexpected and far-reaching repercussions. The book is bound in the original brown boards with gold titling on the spine. The book is in excellent condition with light bumping to the spine ends and some rubbing to the bottom of the spine. The contents are tight and clean with no inscription. The unclipped dustwrapper is very good with light shelf wear and slight fading to the spine. The corners and spine ends are lightl bumped with some nicks to the top of the spine. The front flap is unclipped with a publisher's UK price sticker on the bottom corner.
