Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Alan Petersen is Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Murdoch University, Western Australia. He is author of In a Critical Condition: Health and power relations in Australia (Allen & Unwin, 1994), co-author with Deborah Lupton of The New Public Health (Allen & Unwin, 1996) and co-editor with Robin Bunton of Foucault, Health and Medicine (Routledge, 1997).

Charles Waddell is Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Anthropology and Sociology at the University of Western Australia, and at Schoclastic, Beda College, Rome. He is editor of Social Justice and Health (Vanguard, 1990).

Alan Petersen and Charles Waddell are co-editors of the successful predecessor to this book, Just Health (Churchill Livingstone, 1994).
