Brian Wicker is Chair of the Council on Christian•Approaches to Defence and Disarmament. He has been in opposition to nuclear weapons for nearly fifty years, and has contributed to several CCADD books dealing with just war and related topics. General Sir Hugh Beach saw active service in France and Java, and was awarded the Military Cross. He later rose to become Master General of the Ordnance. After leaving the army he ran St. George's House, Windsor Castle for several years. He has worked tirelessly since then in the justice and peace field, especially with various Christian organisations, and has numerous publications to his name. He was Director of the Council for Arms Control 1986-89, and is currently Vice-Chairman of CCADD.
