ANNE HOGAN is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English at LSU College of Higher Education in Southampton where she teaches courses in 19th and 20th century literature. She received a BA in English and History from the University of Birmingham, an MA in English from the University of Liverpool, and a PGCE from Oxford University School of Education. ANDREW BRADSTOCK is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Theology at LSU College of Higher Education, Southampton, where he teaches church history - including the Victorian period - and political theology. He holds degrees in Theology and Politics from the universities of Bristol, Kent and Otago (New Zealand), and his publications include Saints and Sandinistas and Faith in the Revolution.
