His axioms I pass by as abstract principles, important, or not, according to the nature. Of the propositions to which they may be applied. In my View of the subject, I do not find it necessary to notice them further, my in tention being to address myself to the common sense and practical experience of your readers, and not to attempt to lead them into labyrinths of abstruse or complicated reasoning, drawn from the fine spun theories of political economists.
