The evidence is absolutely conclusive that the dust hazard depends primarily upon the silicotic content of the dust inhaled. The evi dence is also conclusive that workers exposed to marble or limestone dust suffer a decidedly lesser liability to pulmonary tuberculosis than those exposed to granite or sandstone dust, with a high silicotic content.
