The sufferings I experienced there, with many of his Majesty's subjects, have, I make not the least doubt, convinced the inhabitants of the United King dom of the atrocities committed by the French government; and by your indulgent protection of me, that you have ever the interest of yor beloved Sovereign's subjects at heart.
