No compilation of the Laws of Gibraltar has hitherto been attempted, but in 1851 the enactments then in force were collected together and bound in a single volume, without accurate observance of the date of their publica tion. The Laws since 185 l have never been consolidated or published by authority in a collective form, and great and increasing inconvenience has been thereby occasioned to the Courts, the practitioners, and the public.
