There are a few entries in Liber D that pertain to the period covered by the Records in Liber C. But for many reasons it has not been deemed best to print them in this volume apart from their original surround ings. They are not sufficiently numerous and impor tant to make it necessary. Another generation may judge it desirable to print the whole of Liber D, with every part of it in its proper place and order.
