Excerpt from Journal of the Senate of the State of Connecticut: May Session, 1873

Resolved, That the Clerk of the Senate be and he hereby is authorized and instructed to have fifty copies of the Journal printed and distributed daily before the meeting of the Senate, and three hundred copies, with full index, for distribution at the end of the session; and that the reading of the daily Journal be dispensed with.
