Geo. W. New-ton appeared before the board on behalf of the Merchants State Bank of Bismarck, N. D., the officials of this bank claiming to have been assessed too high as compared to the other banks of the town.

W. C. Foster, tax agent for the Chicago Northwestern railway appeared before the board in behalf of that railroad.' On motion the board adjourned subject to the call of the president of the board.
