Here is briefly represented the measure, the spi rit, and the motive of social duty. Here is com prized what is to be done; in what manner, and why, it is to be done; Diligence, in some useful employment, Ardour, in the pursuit Of good ends, and Respect to the will of Him, to whom we are accountable.
These requisites may first, be briefly treated separately then, the excellence and value of their combination and this will naturally lead to a particular application.
