Mosby's Dental Dictionary is a contemporary, comprehensive glossary of over 9,500 terms useful for the entire dental team. Coverage includes all areas of dentistry, basic, clinical and behavioral sciences, terms related to office management, and commonly used medical terms. Full colour format is illustrated with over 350 images. Extensive appendices provide quick, easy-to-use resources for vital information used daily in the clinical setting.

Every copy of the dictionary includes an accompanying CD-ROM. The CD-ROM contains the entire text in Adobe Acrobat. In addition, it includes an audio component that allows users to click on an icon and hear the correct pronunciation of the most complex terms (approximately 30% of all terms). The CD-ROM also includes links to several URLs so that users can gain immediate access to websites with relevance for dental professionals.
