David Michael Hasselhoff was born on July 17, 1952, in Baltimore, Maryland. He is best known for his roles as Michael Knight in Knight Rider, and Mitch Buchannon in Baywatch. In early 2007, he began his role as the flamboyant and flop-prone director Roger De Bris in the Las Vegas production of Mel Brooks's The Producers.
