Chris Bonington will be on THIS IS YOUR LIFE - transmission date tbc as theyonly decide a week in advance (the producers will tell me as soon as they know). Chris Bonington taking part in the RGS 50th Anniversary Everest celebrations on Thursday 29th May at the Odeon, Leicester Square and his books will be on sale (via Stanfords). He has been doing publicity around this event and I am liaising with the event organiser at the Mount Everest Foundation. He will be doing interviews on the day with TALKING POINT (BBC World Service) and SKY NEWS. His event at the Cheltenham Spring Festival was a huge success - there were 800 people in the Town Hall and at least 100 books were sold.
