Deposrno cornuti typographici, a play which used to be performed throughout Germany. This morality-play, for such it really was, strongly attracted my attention, and it occurred to me that what interested one Printer might also interest others, especially as the subject, I believe, is new to English literature, and unknown even to many conversant with ancient German lore. I make therefore no apology for issuing the present little volume.
