Urban geography receives unprecedented em phasis for an elementary treatment, an emphasis which is in keeping with the importance Of the city in modern American life and with the fact that more than half the people of the country live in urban communities. The cumulative carry over secured through the organization of material by work regions reaches its climax in the discussion of Canada.
