Au mois de janvier 1873, M veuve Kretzer m'a fait don, avec une générosité pour laquelle je lui offre ici de vifs remer cîments, d'une série de treize bulbes de Lis en bon état, que lui avait envoyés M. Em. Kretzer, son fils, chancelier du consulat de France à yoko-hama, au Japon. Sur la liste de ces plantes, il s'en trouvait une inscrite sous le n° 3, et avec le nom japonais d'ouba - yonrl (ou plutôt juré) auquel était jointe la note.
