Thousands of farmers in the north ern states are busy along in January each year harvesting ice. Mostly it is cut on the ponds or rivers with a saw pulled by a team. An Iowa ice dealer has rigged up an ice machine at small expense which could be easily as sembled on most any farm. He has no patent on it.
