The mere fact of locality gives most things zoological an enhanced value. Many species vary under the geographical influence of their distribution. Sometimes broadly. Sometimes so minutely that it takes the closest study to detect the differentiation. The form in evidence may or may not be identical with others from a well studied locality. But in either cm they are valuable. As the demonstration of a lack of variation in a locality is of as much scientific importance as that of its occurrence.
