We will simply. State facts and let those who read draw their own conclusions. Weare not bigoted enough to try to form public Opin ion nor do we wish to do so. And we firmly be lieve that what we say about the country, the people and our regiment, untrammled by political prejudice or by the hope of gain, will be received with thankfulness by those friends of the First Nebraska who wish something authentic in re gard to it, and those who desire information in re gard to the Philippines.
