Tms book of German Composition is intended for stu dents who have mastered the inflections of the German grammar, and have had some practice in translating easy English sentences into German. It is divided into two parts: Part I. Containing selections with independent clauses only; Part II selections with principal and dependent clauses. The introductory remarks preceding each part refer chiefly to the position of the verb in German. With more advanced students Part II can be used independently of Part I.
