The honor Of writing this introduction Should have been given to one Of Amboy's Older citizens. However, it has been accepted by me, as mayor, in all humility, because of my high personal regard for the author. My few remarks are based upon the Observations Of a relative newcomer. They have been garnered over a period of ten years during which time it has been my privilege to serve as citizen, physician, and public servant.
