Upwards of a thousand specimens, some nearly an inch long, although gene rally much smaller, enclosed in two large-sized pill-boxes, were transmitted by post in the ordinary way in a single letter. A Wine cork hollowed out in the middle, and a little trimmed at the sides, would be an excellent, and at all times available substitute for a box.
