Als Thermometer habe ich das 80theilige oder Reaumur' sche angenommen, aus dem einfachen Grunde, weil in Deutschland eben kein anderes verbreitet ist. In allen Laden findet man nur solche und das Publikum versteht nur ihre Zahlen. Um nicht zu jeder Angabe eine Reduction machen zu müssen, um ferner den Mangel 100theiliger Thermometer nicht fühlbar zu machen, ist es ungleich einfacher, das verbreitetste Instrument zu gebrauchen.
