Wir haben nun zu erortern, welche Bedeutung den runden zellenartigen Gebilden auf dem Muskel zukommt. Ich habe schon gesagt, dass man oft einzelne Muskeln antrifft die bandförmig sind, ihre Rander also parallel verlaufen; in solchen Fällen trifft man die in Rede stehenden Körper nicht an vielmehr treten diese erst auf, wenn der Muskel wellig contrahirt ist und dann nur auf den Bergen, nie im Thale. Dann sahen wir, dass man auf Zusatz von Essigsaure viele Kerne auf dem Muskel zum Vorschein rufen kann.
