Die genauere Beobachtung geschah dann in der Weise, daß ioli das Deckglas mit dem Kultursubstrat von der Kammer abhob und ein zweites Deckglas von gleicher Größe auf die Agarschicht auflegte. Kleinere Früchte und Fruchtanlagen werden dadurch kaum oder gar nicht, größere Früchte ein wenig gequetscht. Präparate dieser Art sind von einer Seite bei der stärksten Vergroßerung zu betrachten und wenigstens einen Tag über brauchbar, oft sogar länger. Der Pilz ist so zählebig, daß er nach stundenlanger Bedeckung mit einem Deckglase noch weiter wachst.
