The writer would not feel himself justified in thus noticing this book by occasional errors and imperfections nor would he have thought it worthy of his notice, had it been from the hand of some unknown literary adventurer. But it comes with the sanction of Prof. Stuart's name as a warrant for its fidelity to the original and its errors are so numerous and of such a nature as to give character to the whole book.
