The devout worshipper, then, finds himself in a difficulty: the Braid-use gives certain rubrics, the Bramston-use not only omits these, but presents others which seem, and indeed are, contradictory. What is he then to do The solution is simple: he is to take his club and find out for himself which of the two gives, in his case, the best results, or, in other words, which of the two, after a fair trial, is easiest to him personally. For that is one of the unspeakable benefits of golf: the easiest method of accomplishing the same feat is for each player the right method.
