Statuendum igitur nobis est Strabonem hoc loco duos fontes, res sibi contrarias praebentes, tam negle genter tamque temerarie confudisse, ut lacunas, quae inter partes e diversis fontibus sumptas' hiarent, explere non curaret. Denuo igitur confirmatur opinio olim pro lata, Strabonem, quem constat admodum grandem natu Opus suum composuisse, id non perpolivisse. Quem in modum eum etiam alibi peccasse intermissa nunc quidem quaestione de fontibus libri tertii altero statim exemplo demonstrabo.
