Chlo'rite-schist, or chlorite-slate, a en slaty rock, in which chlorite is abundant in fo ted plates, usually blended with minute grains of quartz, and sometimes with felspar or mica. It belongs to the metamorphic rocks, and is often found graduating into gnexss and clay-slate.
