It will be interesting to the old students to learn that Miss May A. Davis, SO long in charge of the culinary department of our school, has returned to her Old place and is making it homelike for us all.

Meredith Riddle, '05, and a graduate Of 1911, Wellesley, is taking a year of rest, which, after so many years of study, she needs and deserves. She is spending the year with her aunt, Mrs. Kir kendall, in Spokane, Washington. A recent Spokane newspaper gives her picture with a flattering notice Of her social success in that city.

The Old South steps are gone. Their tumbling down days are over. The place where they stood is now filled by a fine cement stairway and porch with artistic lights.

Charlotte E. Harr, '89, has a beautiful home in Moran, Kan sas, and three fine boys to adorn it. Her husband is C. C. Thomas, postmaster and editor in this prosperous Kansas town. We want to quote her as an example for others in writing us to have her address properly placed in the catalogue, and the herald sent.

A recent visitor, after her return home has written us: I knew, she says, before I went to Indiana that you had made many and great changes in the school, but I had no comprehension of it until I saw for myself. Everything is so beautiful to look upon, and so comfortable that I cannot avoid wishing that I could turn the years backward and be an Indiana school girl again.
