Having thus fully described the nature of the process by which I prepare my improved India Rubber fabrics, I do hereby declare, that I do not new claim the combining of sulphur with caoutchouc, either in the proportion named, or in any other - this combination having been the subject of a patent granted to me on the 24th of February, 1839; but I do claim the combining qf'tke said gum with Mpkur and white lead, so as to form a triple compound, either in the proportions herein named, or in any other, within such limits, as will produce a like result.
