The presidency of the Alumni Association of which he is a life member is his latest and, for the present, his absorbing distinction. With his capacity for clear vision and prompt judgment he is studying the problems and prospects of the association and we may expect from him an early announcement of a program of action. He has no slogan to propound, but he has some practical and constructive ideas as to what the association can and should accomplish. Let every mem ber of the association pledge him his active and hearty support and make the semi-centennial of the University a memorable year in the history of the association.
