Fresh fruit crops in Argentina this year will be smaller and prices higher than last season. The production or dried fruits, however, is expected to be about the same. With respect to dried fruit, the exportable surplus is tentatively esti mated at about the same as last season; namely. Metric tons of raisins. Tons of prunes, 800 tons of peaches, 400 tons of pears, 250 tons of apricots, 200 tons of figs, and 40 tons of apples.
