During 1893 the efficiency of this Bureau was increased by the addition of eight hosemen to the force, and four Silsby Fire Engines, two Chemical Engines, two Combi nation Hose Wagons, 36 six-gallon Hand Extinguishers, and a total of feet of hose to the equipment.
