A summary of these detailed measurements on the east side of Lake Michigan was presented in graphic form in a map showing isobases or lines of equal deformation at the Algonquin beach over the northern half of Lake Michigan!

The close correspondence between the conditions there and those which Dr. Spencer had reported from Ontario was brought out in a small map of the Great Lake mion. On which a few selected isobases were extended eastward through points in Michigan to some of Dr.

Spencer's points near Georgian bay and the east shore of Lake Huron.
