Author, some years ago, of Polynesian Researches,' and more recenélty of Three Missionary Visits to Madagascar, in 1853, 1854, and publish by Murray, a work full of the deepest interest to the philanthropist and to the lover of natural history, clearly proving that an attention to the works of nature by no means detracts from his missionary usefulness. We owe to him the introduction of two species of the wonderful Lace-leaf to our stoves; both figured in the pre sent work.
