Excerpt from Footprints, 1933

It doesn't take much imagination or a very excellent memory to recall that terribly lost feeling as we wandered around with slightly green expressions on our faces while the more fortunate upper class girls were welcoming one another enthusiastically. Our Junior Sisters did their best to cheer us up, though. We went into Mass, trying to collect some definite impression of our future Alma Mater.
