Ich glaubte das kritische studium des gedichtes bedeutend zu erleichtern dadurch, dass ich auch die varianten der verschiedenen ausgaben und die sonst gemachten verbesserungsvorschläge beifügte. Es schien mir am zweckmässigsten zur abkürzung dabei, soweit als tunlich, die kleinen anfangsbuchstaben der namen der gelehrt anzuwenden, von denen die betreffenden lesarten empfohlen werden.
