Muchos hai que toman el empleo de preceptores cc mo una ocupacion secundaria. Algunos estudiantes que aun están a medio camino en su carrera, recurren a él, como a un espediente temporal para mantenerse, siendo 'eu objeto principal continuar sus propios estu dios. Otros hacen del preceptorado una grada para obtener un empleo, a su juicio, mas elevado, en la es cala social, considerando el empleo de preceptor, mién tras lo conservan, como fastidioso en etremo, i mani festando gran contento cuando llega la hora de cerrar la escuela. Tales receptores no están poseídos del veri dadero espíritu el maestro; i si sus trabajos no son completamente inútiles, esto solo prueba que los ui ños están muchas veces espuestos a inminentes peli gros de los que son maravilloamente salvados por la mano dela Providencia.
