Gas. Ce Scrophularia, bien caractérisé et très distinct, non seulement des autres espèces annuelles du genre, mais aussi des espèces vivaces, m'a été envoyé, mélangé au S. Schousboei Lge, par M. Schmitz, avec étiquette mentionnant la localité de Barretos, mais sans détermination de l'espèce. Je suis heureux de le dédier à mon zélé correspondant, M. E. Schmitz, dont les persévérantes recherches, depuis trente ans, ont enrichi la flore portugaise de plusieurs plantes des plus intéressantes.
