Michael J. Parsons is head of the art education department at the Ohio State University and the author of How We Understand Art: A Cognitive Development Account of Aesthetic Experience. H. Gene Blocker is a professor of philosophy at Ohio University and the author of The Aesthetics of Primitive Art.
