Nebst dem wesentlichen Inhalt des Schwerd'sehen Werkes war ich bestrebt, auch einige allgemeinere Sätze, welche ich in einer früheren Ah handlung veröffentlichte in das elementare Gewand zu kleiden. Ausser dem glaube ich in dem letzten Paragraphen dieses Schriftchens auf einen wichtigen neuen Satz (vom Minimum des Beugungswinkels) aufmerksam gemacht zu haben. Auf ihn lässt sich nämlich eine neue Methode zur Messung der Wellenlängen gründen, welche wirklich in Ausführung zu bringen mir leider bisher nicht vergönnt war.
