That the long continuance of fo expenfive and onerous a war, is moft feverely felt by all ranks and defctiptions of men, is a truth too felf-evident to'be denied the burthens it has entailed on the (objects in general are, beyond difpute, aimoli too heavy to be borne but when they are eommred with the {till greater evils that have fallen upon thofe countries which have been overrun and fraternized by the French, at gleam of eont'olation chears and enlivens the mind, And makes as rather hear those ills we have, Than fly to others that we know not of.
