Quand on regarde la mer, on a, à sa gauche, une petite rivière qui descend du pays haut, et vient se jeter dans la mer. Quand le flot remonte, il envahit le lit de la Touque, qui rebrousse vers sa source et se répand eu-delà de ses rives dans les endroits où elle n'est pas suffisamment encaissée.
