Buchbeschreibung 8vo. pp. xii, [ii], 179. Original publisher's burgundy boards lettered silver on spine and upper cover. Felix Dennis' copy with a post-it note on front free endpaper with his handwritten note which refers to 'The Reader is King' a lecture he gave which is included in the text and identifying where the paperback copy of this book is located in his home. The lecture was delivered on April 17, 2007 and is identified with a taped marker. With the small attractive bookplate showing a bookish owl, of 'Oz' publisher, later media tycoon Felix Dennis (1947 2014) on inside cover with 'Aug 12' written in pencil in his hand. He was also a distinguished poet, philanthropist, book collector and lover of trees (The Forest of Dennis). A couple of small indents on lower cover, otherwise very good.
