More than two decades ago Rowan Simons moved to China, and soon after he began working to expose the country to the social and health benefits of amateur soccer. As he soon learned, this was no easy task, especially in a country where it is illegal for more than 11 people to congregate for the purposes of a recreational sporting activity.
