In addition to many journal articles, Paul has previously authored Democracy and Patricipation at Work, Palgrave; A Handbook of Work and Organization, OUP; and the highly successful third edition of Work Organizations.

CHRIS SMITH is Professor of Organisation Studies at The School of Management, Royal Holloway, University of London, UK.
