Originally published in 1935 and out of print for some years, this bibliography was prepared under the direction of the Advisory Committee on Pressure Groups and Propaganda of the Social Science Research Council. The present edition includes all the original material as well as new Introduction by Lasswell, discussing increasingly sophisticated developments in the study and management of communications over the past thirty years.
